Plain Croissant


Ingredients: soft wheat flour type 0, vegetable margarine (palm fats soybean oil, sunflower oil and corn oils in variable proportions, E471 emulsifier, acidifying agents: E330) sugar, yeast, salt, colouring: E160a.

Baking:

Oven-ready croissants

Grease the baking tray with butter or use parchment paper. Let the croissants defrost at room temperature for 15 minutes and bake them at 170 - 180°C for about 20 minutes.

 

"To Raise" croissants

Grease the tray with butter or use parchment paper. Place the croissants wide apart from each other, so to prevent them from sticking together as they rise. Allow the croissants to rise for 8 hours at room temperature, and then bake them at 170 - 180° for about 20 minutes.
